Bridging research and practice through thoughtful design and evaluation.

I’m a researcher and instructional designer working across language, education, and technology.

What interests me is the part of the work that happens before a finished product exists: understanding a need, defining what success should look like, developing the frameworks and criteria to get there, and figuring out how to tell whether it worked.

My background in applied linguistics and qualitative research gives me the tools for this — I’ve used them in curriculum and assessment development, needs analysis, learning design, and educational research.

Lately, that work has extended into AI, where the same questions apply: developing evaluation frameworks and quality guidelines, exploring safety guardrails, and building tools that put those frameworks into practice.
